One Last 'Kiss'

I've finally reached that point of perfection,
Where I no longer feel a thing about you.
Though I should say my thanks, I suppose,
because without you, my dream would never have come true.

I would not have spurred this body,
to such an extent that I would be free of the law.
And now that I can do as I please,
I can finally smile and say, 'nevermore'!
