Learning From Knocks:
I used to be a fucking idiot!
I guess that's why some people never took me serious,
But I have learned from the truth that is hideous;
My only wish is that I wasn't so oblivious...
Because when I took a fall from my cloud,
I hit the solid ground, rose up to be pushed down,
Misery surround now.
I'm just fightin' this war,
Wagin' for my own crown,
Letter for letter,
So I can say I never backed down.
Facing adversity, my only adversary,
Is my own drive to make success a necessity.
From when I greet the morning until I say my goodnight.
I'll still be chasing after dreams until I walk in the light.
So for the patience and the people still readin' my works,
I can tell you I will never die, that's just a quirk.
I bet you'll see me comin' back like I'm raised from the dead,
And I will leave you with emotions that'll ring in your head!

~ Beginning of a new age

Awareness.
She writes such lovely poems
But nobody really cares
She hides them all the time
To avoid the judging stares
She wrote one yesterday
About a boy who said he loved her
But to her own dismay
She caught him with another
She wrote one about school
And the words painted on her locker
“No one likes you, stupid bitch.
You’re lucky I’m at soccer.”
She wrote about her parents
And how she wished they were together
But she knows that won’t ever happen
And forgetting’s probably better
Yes, she writes such lovely poems
But there’s so much more to this
See, her pencil is a razor
And the paper is her wrist.

Between the Sword and the Pen
I heard there was a battle,
between a pen and a sword.
Between a few deathly strikes,
and one simple word
The sword could not defeat
a few thousand men,
A thousand worded lecture
was written by the pen.
The lecture drove them all,
to temporary death.
Its words dragged on like lullabies,
and stole their very breath.
The sword was not able
to bring tears to ones eyes,
Without striking love
and telling many lies.
The pen however knew how
to make ones insides melt,
when composing a sonnet
so powerful and svelte.
The sword ended up covered,
with blood and salty tears.
It's blade getting heavy,
from battling all those years.
And I hear that
Literature
A lesson in realism:
you are
only human.
There is no such
thing as stardust
floating in your veins or
gloomy poetry stitched
right into your heart.
Your blood is made of
iron - unbreakable,
unbending and unmatched
by any other stronghold,
for you are a fortress
that they will never invade.
Stand up,
darling;
wipe those tears away
and know that
you are the only one
who can reinforce these walls.

Sup guys,
It's been a long time. Been going through so much in my regular life that it's just been crazy for me.
I experienced some good shit...and then a whole lot of bad shit, I guess it really gave me perspective on what I should be doing.
I'll still be trying hard to the bitter end and I'm always thankful for those times that someone tells me on facebook that they still read my works and stuff. It's amazing
