Okay, so let me tell you all about being unlucky.
First, I'm old and I'm only getting older.
Second, I'm unfit and struggling to get back into shape.
Third, my competitor is everything I'm not (handsome, athletic and ten out of ten).
Fourth, the girl I love is cheering him on in his corner.
Now that is some next level bad luck let me tell you!
Feel free to laugh at me, I'm okay with it!
Because I'm about to level with you:
See, I could give up right now, be depressed
and eat ice cream all day with Breaking Benjamin on repeat.
OR
I can remember I've still got a belt around my waist.
It's a tad rusty, but it has the word 'Champ' on it
And though I may not have the hot lady cheering me on in my corner--
I can still hear the audience chanting my name.
So bring it on life, I'm not going down this time,
because real heroes--NEVER DIE!

Self realization
My self realization and the need to dig deeper in understanding the dark parts of myself led me to writing poetry and lyrics for my music. It made me able to Consciously see these behaviors. I'd write out these parts of myself in a way that seemed fucked up and in need of change. If anybody relates and needs help with the same, I'm providing a subscription to my self healing writings. That's something I never really thought of before. DOES a hero/heroine consider themselves lucky for being who they are? Or are they unlucky?
