Yer Captain is Back ye scurvy lot!

Aye lads and lasses, it's been a long time since I set me foot back on th' land o' DA. It's been hell before me trip t' Singapore, I got hayfever as soon as I arrived and I had no internet fer three days. Now, I'm back in full force and me accent is back too.

I figured, during me time in solitary, that me accent was a part o' th' fun. It was a little taste o' th' magic o' fantasy and though I can't really talk like this in real life without sounding badly scottish, I do believe tha' it can still be used as a fair written accent on DA.

Anywho, I thank ye all fer ye messages of love and support durin' me troubled times and now I'll pay ye back with work that'll blow yer mind (assumin' it's not obscured by strange poetry about missin' people and what not...seriously what's happened since I've been gone, standards 'ave gone down these days. Twas a time when such works would be blown away by pieces dealin' with the core of a human and unravelin' the mysteries of the heart and mind). Anywho, I'll be takin' a dark direction in my art again (with some breaks in between) and I've got plenty of stuff owin'

1. A REALLY SADISTIC POEM T' TOP SENSUAL TORTURE - A fan has been waiting fer this fer a long while, so I intend t' have it finished by the 14th of December (at the latest).

2. Crew membership - Someone is still waitin' for this, it'll be done t'day or t'morrow mornin' dependin' on me schedule.

3. Birthdays - I've missed a few so I'll do a December poetic special on the 15th or 16th for all the December babies ^^

4. Reviews and IN BLAQ - Some people are still waiting fer reviews or comments on their work. Remember to send me a note with a link to the piece (comments get lost easily). Also those who are takin' part in IN BLAQ, please link me to the piece that I've guested on so I can put it up in this journal and get you some viewership :3

IN BLAQ EVENT IS STILL RUNNING: Alright everyone, those who aren't familiar yet. I'm running an event called 'IN BLAQ'. The event name is a tribute to the K-pop group "MBLAQ" and basically the idea of this event is to help me collaborate and practice working with other artists. How does it work, let me show you:

First Step: Come up with an IDEA, IN BLAQ!

  Let's say you've got an idea for a poem, song, or even a visual art piece that you feel needs to SAY something. Let's say you want me to contribute some of my writing to that. Then this is event is exactly for you.

Second Step: Talk to me, IN BLAQ!

  After you've got your idea and concept, start by:

- If you're doing a LITERARY piece - writing out the poem and song and see where you want me to come in and start either rapping or contributing poetically (you can decide on my style and you have FULL artistic right. You can even say, do whatever you want [in which case I'll probably default to an urban feel to practice my rapping style]). This was previously not allowed, but I'm trying to make the event more open. It is highly recommending you send writing in NOTE form to me first instead of as a deviation, as you can then release it as a fresh piece and get some showtime on newest uploads.

-If you're doing a VISUAL ART piece - Get the image done and submit under scraps or in Stash and contact me to preview it (use a note NOT a comment please). I will view it and then you can discuss with me the kind of lines you want me to write to your visual art piece. Now keep in mind you cannot submit the picture as a literature piece, instead submit it under a visual art category but use the 'Add Text' function to add my guest portion to it. You can instruct me to do whatever you want me to, or similar to the literature pieces, just ask me to do whatever in which case I will most likely default to very short, mini shot-glass poetry style lines to convey the deeper meaning of the picture.

Third Step: post it, IN BLAQ!

After you've submitted your deviation, drop me a note and I will feature it in this journal. Essentially you've scratched my back so I'm going to scratch yours. Here's an example of a deviation I guested on for IN BLAQ (others if you want yours up here, just drop me a note with a link to the deviation and I'll post it up ASAP):

Is it a crime to want something that you cannot have?
He's constantly reaching for some sort of indulging thing to sway himself from what he's really struggling to deal with.
He's wasting precious time by craving some sort of body to hold, wanting some illegitimate attention to make himself known upon the tabloids and gossip. You'd think he would stop, but the end result is always the same - He ends up causing a heart to sever.
Broken like so many vessels and veins,
Red river spilling on the edge of disdain.
So many moments gone by, so perfectly wasted,
The bitterest memory I've ever tasted
She on the other hand,
wants someone to hold.
She's not wasting any time by forging new ties with herself,
to make herself known in the industrial world,
that is ever changing constantly and effortlessly.
She puts effort into make herself look good,
to appear known to other people, so they will recognise her face
as not just "another pretty face," but someone to ta your faultcold, empty
something that should be there

it tears at my heart
Cold lies fostered beneath a gentle mask,
Smile hides poison like venom in a flask,

For the event itself the ARTWORK or ORIGINAL LITERATURE belongs entirely to you and you can do whatever, but you must give me credit for a guest segments. Also you must use a different font formatting for the guest segments. That is to say, if the original is in normal font, then my guest segment should be in italics.
