Anywaaaaaay, my dear Chennie's and Chennettes,
I am proud to present to you - The Empty Station
My fifth poem in the Masquerade series.
It's been delayed by a day because I was having a bit of a coughing fit on the day of the tumblr release and I hadn't yet recorded the lines, but thankfully it's all back on track now. That said, please do enjoy it and to my group of regular readers, keep up the reading!
The next series is already being prepared, but more on that in my next video log...possssssibly on Sunday :'D

The Empty StationI'm sitting on a bench
At the nine o'clock station.
A blank ticket in my hands
As I watch the time go by.
Cold coffee sits on the armrest beside me.
The cup unsipped, its mouth untouched.
A crumpled box rests in a heavy left pocket;
The gift ungiven, the present forgot.
And in my heart I wish only,
That I had arrived much earlier still.
Without regrets at five past the hour.
For missing you, my number eleven train.
