Artist ExploitationArtist Exploitation - The New Game Plan:
My dearest readers,
I have recently learned of a rather disturbing business plan being utilised by business people of an unscrupulous variety.
In essence their plan is simple: They gather art from many applicants and then they publish it as a magazine and sell it COMMERCIALLY!
Now then, why is this a problem? They tend to claim you get the benefits of advertisement and artists will be invited to read their works etc.
Well here's how the scam unfolds:
1. They get the artwork you created and an implied permission of use from you due to the voluntary submission
2. There is no formal written contract, so they can do as they please and you have no legal right to claim redress as you voluntarily submitted your work in.
3. Their potential benefits are a total sham and in essence they are asking you to work for free. Want a dissection? I'll explain:
- The item getting advertised is NOT your work. Your work is a part of the item. What is gettin

Poetic Practice - Love Like AshPoetic Practice - Love Like Ash:
Yes sir, he is clinging to insanity.
He remembers all the things he said, profanity.
Bare the shame on his naked old humanity.
He is the doll claiming love for his vanity-
When he woke up, desire!
He made a move like fire.
His whispers; a liar,
His heart snaps, like wire!
But what are you thinking of this man as I make him out?
Is it an image or a type that you seem to tout.
was it all his fault with no one else to blame,
Or were there cracks in the story that they both will claim-
Spit that and live that,
Hate when you love that!
You rip that and tear that,
Scream like you know that!
Stop for a moment and just listen to this silent cry,
Time has stopped now for both of us to say goodbye.
Both turning on these clocks, living lies that have stopped;
And when the love turns to ash, let the gloves be dropped...

Practice Poem - D and D Tongue TwisterPractice Poem - D&D Tongue Twist:
So here, sit down, get down;
Everyone just f'in' hit the ground.
Cause I'm rhymin' with some rap I stole,
Everyone in the house just sit and roll;
Cause I'm burnin' fire with an Undead Monk
Yeah I play D&D when I'm f'in drunk.
Rush feats that'll make you go mad in black,
You'll scribble all over that fanny pack.
Now I'm crusin' through some Elven Wood,
Searchin' up some dude for the stolen good,
When a dragon pops out snarl and roar,
Man I roll for a 'Fist of Garandor'.
Eight dee six damage added through and through,
'Chain fist' makes me some Dragon Goo.
Got loot poppin' outta my character sheet;
Don't wanna get it stained with my milk and wheat...
So I sit in a tavern restin' up,
While the DM fills his restin' gut.
And his mom comes in the f'in room,
"Hey why didja enter mah lair of doom!"
"Do you want me to bring some pizza rolls?"
"Goddamit Mom I'm the Evil Grole!"
"But do you want some of those f'in pizza rolls?"
"Yeah I'll have some mom ju
The Legend of ForeverAloneMan"They say that he's a legend, an incredible person far greater than any other!" said the Mage, bubbling with excitement as he described his hero to the Knight. "Would you believe he conquered seven dungeons all on his own?"
The Knight scoffed at his remark, "Ser Mage, I believe you have been lied to. There is no possible way for a man to face even a single dungeon on his own. Hundreds of monsters wait inside, each eager to tear the unwelcome adventurer limb from limb. I have no choice but to believe this tale a far-fetched fantasy. Perhaps one that sprung from your many nights of alcohol abuse."
"M-my drinking habits have nothing to do with this, I'm telling you, he exists! The legendary swordsman who faces dungeons on his own!" The Mage huffed angrily, as he turned away from his companion. He intended to come back with a stronger insult, but his thoughts were interrupted by a brilliant spark of light. And from this spark, like a white rose blooming in a gar
My Soul, My Dream, My TeamMy Soul, My Dream, My Team:
We are dreamers, we humans.
We reach out eagerly to that which lies above us
Tempted by its unattainable nature and egotistically;
We simplify the task that lies before us...
We climb without any forethought, without preparation;
Recklessly we charge head on for our goal -
And eventually, we lie broken by our failure.
I myself, Captain as you call me,
Am little better than a foolish dreamer.
One who dreams in a childish manner;
Unaware of his impotence, when left alone.
How many times have I been saved by others?
When I lack time, it is my officers who stand,
They keep the ship running smoothly,
Expending hours of precious effort.
When I fall, it is my co-captain who rallies me,
And reminds me of our responsibility -
One that we owe to our readers and friends.
When I write, it is my team - my uncles,
Who lay the path before me;
They give their time and their heart,
Supporting my work from its birth as but a simple idea.
And when I am dow
ShinobiA lone blade decides the fate of a nation... (1剣は国の運命を決定する)
That is the principle that we have always lived by. I do not pretend to understand the greater workings of the world, for that is not my intended purpose. I was born and forged as a blade. One that will never see the light of day.
Tonight I was called from across a distant land, to travel to a forgotten castle. Here, away from all things mundane, sits a lord who views himself as a mortal god. He does not speak to his people; he does not show his face. Instead he allows his chosen 'angels' to rule the nation in his stead.
This has led to severe unrest in some provinces and for the sake of maintaining the greater peace, the shadow of fire (火災影) has decided that we will strike him down. If one man's blood can save the lives of many, then he should be glad to have it spille

Remember when I said there was a "surprise" coming on Thursday? Here it is! This is one of the projects I've been working on these past few weeks. My job was to make the "Joe" inserts used in this video.
$30 Commissions -OPEN-Well, it's been about 6 months so... I'm gonna start accepting commissions again.
I don't generally do commissions very often because I'm pretty bad at mailing things and replying to e-mails... So I'm gonna try to streamline this process to make it easier for all of us. Sound good? Please read the rules carefully below. They're pretty basic stuff, and I've included a template at the bottom to make the process even simpler.
***RULES PLEASE READ***
1) Price: Flat rate of $30 per page. I'm at liberty to add an additional $5-$10 if I feel the work is more ambitious than the flat rate. For example, don't expect to commission me to draw all 600+ pokemon for $30, that's just silly. We'll discuss prices more in e-mails if it comes up, but for the most part $30 should cover just about everything.
2) No fetish stuff.
3) I'm only going to accept digital commissions. I'm absolutely awful at sending original artwork through the mail, and I don't want to keep people waiting for their work. Wh
Excuse me while I shit my pants.Oh boy, it's a brand new day on deviantArt! Gee, I think I'll go take a look at today's Daily Deviations to see what our CVs want to feature!

Wow, these all pretty awesome! I'm really digging the DDs today!
Well, it looks like that's the end! Oh wait, what's that...?
Okay, holy shit! I was definitely not expecting to see that. So um, I really don't know what to say. Thank you to everyone who commented/faved my work, lots of thanks to the awesome people who watched me, thanks to Renkore who was nice enough to send me some points, and HUUUUGE thanks to ClefairyKid who featured my work, lady-leliel who suggested it, and Annizify who commissioned me to create it in the first place. You guys should definitely go check out their stuff! In fact, here are some of my favorite works from their galleries:

All Here For A ReasonI turned onto a shady, well-manicured driveway that, for all intents and purposes, looked harmless enough. Maple trees lined both sides of the street, and a parade of Canadian geese marched across the road to a wide duck pond with a flamboyant fountain. There were blooming crepe myrtles and rose-of-sharons, and as I grew closer to my destination, neatly trimmed gardens with neatly trimmed bushes.
I stopped to let the geese pass. They looked at me; one hissed. I honked my horn and moved around them.
At the end of the road sat a collection of grayish buildings and a number of signs directing me to the appropriate parking lot. "Welcome to Ten Creeks Hospital," said one of them. "Please enjoy your stay." I parked in the visitor's lot. Surely I wouldn't be staying.
I was shaking when I got out of my car. I had spent the morning getting high. One foot in front of the other, flip-flop noises, hot sidewalk. Mulberry and magnolia trees, freshly shaved grass. A bench and pan for smokers. A set o
