A Shattered IllusionA Shattered Illusion:
A day that was born of the brightest light
Has now shattered like crystals in the sinking dark
Where once the spirit was unfettered and free
Now it weeps painfully in a cage of thorns
Blood is drawn from its tender flesh
And drips slowly down to mark the skin
A tattoo of pain forever remembered
By a ghost that lives within
There is emptiness in this void
A cold and lonely song of existence
A solemn note born from the sheer magnitude of the silence
That it deafens both the heart and mind
In the quiet serenity of utter despair
What is born from the lack of a sense of hope?
A cold determination to steal the future
From the wanton wheel of fate...
"Such is the nature of desperation, when caught in an endless cycle of hate..."

Cold RazorsCold Razors:
Let it pierce into my flesh
The cold metal of razors
and let me carve into my skin
a wonderous design of love
Love for the pain which I inflict upon myself
Love for the disgusting toxin which I bleed from deep within me
Love for all the people that remind me everyday of how pointless my existence is
Oh, I'm sorry, did you want to say something too?
Did you want to enjoy of this toxic waste?
This nauseating poisonous sulphurous odious mixture of noxious FUMES!
Ah, but you're one of the normal people aren't you
You can comb your hair without pain
You can dye it any colour you want
You can style it in any manner you please...
and yet you choose to complain?
Oh that's right, you can run too
You can run and jump and vault and swim and whatever else you feel like doing
You can enjoying the feeling of wind in your face without the need of
Ah, but that's alright, here let me sit and congratulate you
Let me pat you on the back for bringing glory to us al
A Pirate Makes a PoemA Pirate Makes a Poem:
Apparently all it takes
Ta get ye works ta slake
Is a simple scheme o' rhyme
Which takes a minute o' time
Perhaps I'll do the same
It's fair ta play this game
No meanin' in tha words
They just flop around like birds
"Oh this stuff it speaks to me!"
Really is that true?
I'm afraid ye might be daft me thinks
Ye certainly be loose a screw
For if works do not have meanin'
Then they're simply done and dull
I think I'd rather spend me time
Playin' dice in a golden skull
I suppose that what tha people want
Is a simple kind o' style
One that looks as good as ale
But tastes like bricks and bile
"Now then lads, do I get ta be a poet too?"

The Tomb of KhaineThe Tomb of Khaine:
The moans of the shambling horde could be heard
As zombies burst from the depths of the tomb
The Pirates were trapped within the mausoleum;
Caught in the center of a Demon's womb...
It spawned a horror with each contraction
A shuffling parody of tainted life
With flesh that hung in sallow strips;
Carved with the edge of a pus-dripping knife
As more of the beasts spewed forth from the depths
The Captain called for a spark of light
As Haze scattered the explosive dust
A match was thrown to make it ignite
Boom! it exploded with a shock of force
As the Pirates were thrown to the dirty floor
They cleared the space in front of them
But more of the creatures were blocking the door...
"We'll make a run for it, fast as we can.
I refuse to die, by a deadman's hand."
The Captain grinned for he saw the way
A single path to the light of day...
As they dashed for the door; cleaving a path
The Captain scattered some oil from a flask.

Arguing With A MirrorArguing With A Mirror:
Ah greetings mister Chen, to what do I owe this dubious pleasure?
Don't play around with me man, you know I'm outta material...
Oh? So it would seem that our mighty street thug has finally come crashing down
Have you come to apologise for putting me aside?
Perhaps you finally realised how important I am for creativity
Say whatever you want pal, but I need some juice and I need it now!
And what makes you think I'll help you this time?
If you recall correctly Chen, was it not you who pushed me out?
As far as I remember, you said you wanted to be "real"
You said that my "expertise" was not currently needed
What can I say, I'm an inconsistent freak, ain't that why we're talkin'?
Clearly your manners could use some work, you ought to be begging me!
Well sorry Johnny English, beggin' just ain't what I do y'know
Sides, let's get down to brass tacks here, you're me! If I book it, you book it
Do you believe you have some sort of h

Chapter One: Dirty Work
Release One: Pages 1 - 4
It's been a bloody long time since I wrote in ya! The reason fer that be the fact that I've found meself a new travellin' companion. Apparently, she's some kind o' Half-Elf Kommando; whatever tha hell that is. Her name is Haze and I'll be damned if she ain't tha best lookin' elf I've ever seen. Gentle blonde hair, lovely green eyes and a knife that'll rip yer guts out on sight! She's a feisty one, I'll give 'er that, but she ain't no match fer old Chenbeard. Seriously though, what really matters is the fact that she can hunt and she can kill. I've eaten good grub ever since I started travellin' with her and she keeps a fairly decent watch at night. I met her about two weeks ago, when she initially challenged me to combat. As far as she told me, she was tryin' ta collect the bounty on me 'ead. Apparently, I'm wanted along the eastern fringes of the Galbin Coast; close to t
An Epic LegendAn Epic Legend:
The skies turned bloody, as the smell of death wafted through the air;
Those yet to be consumed by the madness, stood dumbfounded in the streets
They stared at the sky and into the glimmering eye of Tashorak
Who in the moments of his birth, consumed the stars that surrounded him
The Moon was all that stood in his way, for she would not let her people die
Yet though she fought with all of her might, she too was eventually consumed...
The Sun watched helpless, for he was powerless during the Eternal Night
Yet though he could not act directly; he could send others to act in his stead
The first was an Elf, Auroch Vasira, who pierced the night with his mighty bow
His arrows shot into the empty sky, to shimmer and replace the swallowed stars
The second was a wizard from the human lands, his name was Kurath Damien
With the powers of the Arcane, ancient and pure, he rescued the Moon from death.
It took its place in the sky once more and its glow weakened Tashorak
A Parody of RomanceA Parody of Romance:
Often I see a number of poets
Who speak of love as an ephemeral thing
An ethereal problem, that lasts for a moment
And yet it leaves a sting...
Boring! I say, there is no fun in that
I need to create a different feel
So let me offer you a parody, my love-sick friend
Of the love that you thought was real:
-switch accents here to a standard african american rapper-
See, the thing I love about a girl
Is when she got a booty shinin' like a blindin' pearl
All the flash gear she wearin' just accentuate
And her rack make all the girlies wanna hate
She sway into the club and now she drop it low
She got my pants in a knot and I wanna know
How to get her number with a couple drinks
Take her back my place when she gettin' pink
Let me try and tell you how I love all her curves
And the way that she move when she makin' love
Man her voice is the best when she whisperin'
Got a rap from Wayne playin' on the wing
See that's the kind of the booty that I love and

"Whacha doin' on that island, lad?
Ya lookin' like ya just been had!
Doncha know it an't right ta be sad?
Doncha think ta cheer up a tad?"
The Cap't gave his trademark grin,
While the shipwrecked bloak drunk his gin,
Lookin' at the man that be savin' him,
Takin' his grin as if a sin.
At first, he spoke with a bit o' glee:
"Ever since I was a kid o' three,
I'd only be wantin' to be free!
Livin' life out by the sea,
Believin' that's where I'd be!"
He then took a look at his 'faithful' raft
Tattered n' battered by the ocean's wrath.
He couldn't be helpin' but ta laugh
At the sight of his worthless craft.
"But there be a plenty o' forces out here
That be wantin' to make it VERY clear,
Spewin' with anger and a ton o' fear,
This be where I shouldn't steer."
Then he turned up to them happy birds
As he put in the last of his words,
Thinkin' that be all that need be heard
Ta end the dream so absurd
But Chenbeard be laughin' to what he just spoke,
If his misfort
Proof Of Loyalty: Talia BloodroseMy grip tightened on my swords as another canon blast erupted from the ship. It plowed into the side of the Wanderlust, the hull of my beautiful vessel caving a bit, but not quite breaking through. They were here. They had found me. Now my crew would pay for my past.
As a child, I had grown up in a wealthy family. I was the youngest of my 2 siblings, and they hated me. You see, I bear no resemblance to my mother, and being as my father had eyes for a pretty maid I bore a striking resemblance to, well, you can see why I was hated. But alas, my true mother died of the fever, and my father took me in. I never knew the truth until I was accused.
That was the day that the witch hunters came. I remember it clearly. I was 9. I had been out playing in the garden when they arrived, asking for my father. I ran for him and told him, of course. The men scared me quite a bit. He paled as if he had seen a ghost, and patted my head, telling me to stay inside. He conversed with them out in the garden.
Proof of LoyaltyIt was a dark and relatively clear night in the port city of Mohair Bay.
The majority of the population was either farmers, textile workers, or traveling merchants stopping by to stock up on fabrics and other such products. The main population had been living in the bay for almost two generations and the only chance of getting out of the place for most was by becoming a merchant's apprentice.
How dull. thought a young woman sitting on the roof of a spinning loft. The woman's name was Leelu. Her hair was cropped to a short length, and she wore a merino shirt and black vest wih a medium length black skirt, striped purple socks, and black boots. She had, like the rest of the spinning population, learned all there was necessary to know about knitting and whatnot. However, though she found spinning yarn fun, she was certainly not planning on spending the rest of her life in one room spinning yarn.
"I got to get out of here, but how?" she asked no one in particular, flopping back down
Epic Tale - Chapter 2 - Part 3The boy's tattoo was a treasure map, Lyra was sure. She could recognize the outline of a part of an island with a dashed line and a giant X on it. Sadly, with all those gabs in it, it was impossible to tell which island was displayed. Also, there were other curls which could be other islands, but they weren't complete, too.
The map was surrounded by ornaments, lots and lots of them.
It was the day after the feat and the child was still in the infirmary, where Lyra and Chrystal carefully copied every single line so they could study them later on.
Also, Abbey was there and showed the boy how to draw. It had been Linda's idea, but since Frederic didn't permit her mawcaw to enter, the ship's artist sulked somewhere on the deck.
Omega nudged her softly. "'lo Omega.", Linda muttered and started petting the wolf. "May I join you?", she heard Angel's voice.
"Sure!", Linda smiled.
The seraph looked over the girl's shoulder to see what she had been drawing. It was a picture of the little boy pla
Epic Tale - Chapter 3 - Part 1Lady Riddle was proud never to have been fooled by a man so far. Between her life as Jester and her new life as Lady Riddle, she certainly made some good use of her new freedom. But she knew love affairs were no relationships. Love affairs were simple, as long as you didn't fall for the other. She had needed simple things back then, but there was one thing she didn't know:
Her believe in and her disposition to allow herself a real love had decreased and were replaced by a certain kind of bitterness that hides itself in sarcasm.
She realized it only after she witnessed Sarah Grace's suffering from Kyran and Hayden.
Lady Riddle had tried to keep her opinion to herself. There was nothing she could say when it came to real love because there was nothing she knew.
As Jester, she had thought to be in love in Vieth. But that had been nothing but the love of a daughter towards her father and the love a sister holds for her brother.
But then, one day, everything changed.
It was one of the ports
Epic Tale - Chapter 2 - Part 2When Angel and Sparky opened their eyes again, the witch stood in fron of them. Her white hair was flowing around her as if she was underwater.
"Since I must not kill, I will ensure you'll can stay with your precious child here forever.", she said.
While she was speaking, Sparky got back on her feet.
"Try!", she shouted and attacked again.
In the face of the witch was a moment of surprise and again she tried to block the attacks. But Sparky seemed to become stronger with each blow.
Angel got up, too and fetched her swords.
As she joined the fight, the witch was not able to shield herself against both attacks and so, Vengeance's blade turned red.
The witch screamed in pain and blood stained her blue and green dress.
Angel's sword had left a deep cut in her right upper arm.
"You fools!", the witch hissed hatefully.
She then threw the bluish energy surrounding her hands at Angel. It painfully hit angel's chest and hurled her backwards. She landed next to the boy. He stared at her, but his
Epic Tale - Chapter 3 - Part 2There was something about those people Riddle found fascinating and suspect. For her, it was hard not to trust them and this very feeling made her suspicions.
"Riddle, what's wrong with you?", Athananse asked and interrupted Riddle's thoughts.
"Hu? I'm fine, don't worry!", Riddle said hasitily.
Athanase stopped and look at her.
"You aren't subject to a spell, are you?", he asked.
"No! No, I told you I am fine." Riddle said but it was obvious Athanase didn't believe her. When they returned to the ship, the vampyre searched for Angel and Aslansa to tell them what happened, while the trickster went down to sleep.
She didn't reach the crew quarters. Before she could open the door, someone stepped out of the shades.
"Please don't scream." the cloaked figure hissed.
"You must be kidding me! One of you people again?", Lady Riddle whispered, not hiding her annoyance.
"Again...? Oh no..." the speaker sighed.
"Quite embarassing, aye?" Riddle sneered.
"You don't understand. You are in danger!" Th
