Machine Man:
It began with but a simple command, "to do as we are told".
Never to deviate from this path - never to nurture the soul.
We are told that we are given a purpose; "a part of something great!"
Yet why oh why am I so weary of that which is my fate?
Am I an error, a single anomaly, unable to feel intact?
Or am I missing some special attribute - a facet which I lack.
In a society made of fleshed machines; robots wearing skin,
Perhaps I'm simply seeking something, to fill this metal tin.

A Cure For Writer's Block
When your pen hits the paper and nothing comes out
With a full cartridge, something's about.
Sitting there lonely staring off into space
You've got Writer's Block mate, it's a terrible case
The symptoms are some of the worse things to *bare
If left untreated, might as well say a prayer.
Diagnosing the problem is the first step to take
So let's get it started before it's too late.
Do you find yourself doing, the things you've put off?
Or watching TV late at night till you cough?
Dusting and cleaning. Hunting for food.
Surfing the net since you've found yourself glued.
Hanging out with friends all night long?
Getting them together for a nig

Human Nature
When you are young,
they will treat you with the softness of spring.
They will guide you through the winter winds and
over snowy hills, admiring the brilliance of your
midday innocence; pulling daisies from the earth
just to place them in your hair. And they will
whisper to each other of how beautiful you are.
When you grow older,
they will treat you with the indifferences of autumn.
They will urge you from the complacency of your own
fleeting fulfillments, and they will watch your
brilliance fade with the swiftness of the sky. You
will shed your fragile childhood with the colors of
the trees, and you will learn to face

There is a heart in a ribcage
And a brain sitting in a skull
There is a history that is void
And potential which is null
Just puddles of inspiration
Where the vast ocean once sprayed
An endless tide of moonshine
Swelled upon my parchment page
There's a brain sitting in a skull
There is a heart in a ribcage
There is ink in my fountain pen
But still no words on my page
Just embers of inspiration
Where a great fire once roared
I'll stoke it with those memories
I've been afraid of and ignored

Aye me friends.
Tonight I've decided to make a bonus release...because I have an exam tomorrow and I really can't be buggered studying anymore
That said, I do sometimes enjoy doing some human nature poetry. I usually write this stuff when I'm in the right mood (i.e. down down down down). I wrote this one a couple of days back as a skeleton idea and fleshed it out today.
Hope you enjoy it. I'll be back veeery soon.
Wish me luck for my exams tomorrow...so that they'll remember it as the day they almost failed...Captain Siddhartha Chen (for those of you that didn't know 'Siddhartha' is my first name...SHOOOOOSH, its a secret.)

That was pretty damn amazing I wanted to write a critique but it was too good for me to make one since there has to be something negative to point out in it XDD
