Literature Text
Let me tell you this:
The only thing that I could ever fear,
Is their freedom.
Because when they discover,
That they have inside them,
The purpose, power and strength,
To be anything that they choose.
Our lies and our lives,
Will simply be over...
Now repeat after me:
To go against the Chantry,
Is to go against God.
The only thing that I could ever fear,
Is their freedom.
Because when they discover,
That they have inside them,
The purpose, power and strength,
To be anything that they choose.
Our lies and our lives,
Will simply be over...
Now repeat after me:
To go against the Chantry,
Is to go against God.
Literature
While It Burns
Why does a moth fly
Directly into the flame?
Perhaps its captivated
By the beauty to be found
In such pure recreation
Or perhaps
It flies so surely
Into its own death
Because it believes
The flames of rebirth
Will allow it a second chance
At metamorphosis,
And perhaps that this time...
It will appear a butterfly.
Perhaps this is the only thing
It can force itself to believe
While it burns.

Between the Sword and the Pen
I heard there was a battle,
between a pen and a sword.
Between a few deathly strikes,
and one simple word
The sword could not defeat
a few thousand men,
A thousand worded lecture
was written by the pen.
The lecture drove them all,
to temporary death.
Its words dragged on like lullabies,
and stole their very breath.
The sword was not able
to bring tears to ones eyes,
Without striking love
and telling many lies.
The pen however knew how
to make ones insides melt,
when composing a sonnet
so powerful and svelte.
The sword ended up covered,
with blood and salty tears.
It's blade getting heavy,
from battling all those years.
And I hear that
Literature
Awareness.
She writes such lovely poems
But nobody really cares
She hides them all the time
To avoid the judging stares
She wrote one yesterday
About a boy who said he loved her
But to her own dismay
She caught him with another
She wrote one about school
And the words painted on her locker
“No one likes you, stupid bitch.
You’re lucky I’m at soccer.”
She wrote about her parents
And how she wished they were together
But she knows that won’t ever happen
And forgetting’s probably better
Yes, she writes such lovely poems
But there’s so much more to this
See, her pencil is a razor
And the paper is her wrist.

Hey everyone,
Sorry I wasn't around much today. Had to do a lot to get prepared.
I'm working on a lot of Holy Man stuff, it's all work in progress, so here's some filler to pass the time.
I decided to use the 'Chantry' from Dragon Age, because this poem isn't about a specific religion or even a specific idea, but it needed a subject and so...Chantry it is :'3
The ending lines are from a particular movie though. Bonus points if you identify it :'3
