Literature Text

You ask me, 'what is courage?'

Courage is seeing the hail of fire that surrounds you;

The flashes of light that blind.

Projectiles that score flesh and bone,

Sending red rivers splashing through the sky.

Courage is seeing all of that and staying on to fight,

Simply because there are those who cannot.

HEAR THIS PIECE PERFORMED IN MY LICH KING VOICE! - soundcloud.com/siddhartha-chen…

Alright my dears,

This is a piece under a different persona from 'Holy Man', I know you been waiting long but I haven't decided on a voice for him yet. So I wrote this piece using my 'Lady Butterfly/Angel's Wing' persona. The name isn't decided but basically, this guy will do all the emotional free verse and inspirational stuff because he's a nice guy.

The piece itself is obviously about war. I mean, I've been a soldier and I do respect GOOD soldiers, most are just doing their job and trying to make a living, nothing wrong with that. So I wanted to write something that spoke about their courage and the fact that some people, even today, will still put themselves in the line of fire to save you.
