Chasing Shadows of You...
No matter the years that pass me by,
It seems I am forever trapped.
For when it comes to deceiving myself,
I'm afraid I'm rather apt.
In the end the truth which I sought to avoid, is now knocking at my door...
A rabid rat that chews at me; one I can't ignore.
And though I might have grown this body, from the lonely years I've seen.
I'm afraid I can only chase the shadow, of my dearest Angeline.

The Right Hand Curse Reversed
Everything that my right hand has ever written
Comes from the heart and mind of a boy that is cursed
So from now on I’ll learn to write with my left hand
In hope not expectation that this curse will be reversed
And then I shall sit in front of an open fire
Unflinching as each flame licks closer to my face
Not close enough though so it could swallow me whole
But just close enough so that it can have a taste
Of the beads of regret in my perspiration
That are forming and rolling down my furrowed brow
From a wildfire mind that is now out of control
Come thoughts that these damp morals fail to disallow

We will not be sharing a kiss tonight
And no one else’s lips will ever do
Patience is a virtue, not a hindrance
It will be a pleasure waiting for you
Though I’m in love with your body and soul
And dream of a shared passion between us
I’ll wait to hear your body sing my name
There can indeed be innocence in lust
Alas, I cannot dance with you tonight
As we find ourselves many miles apart
But still you dance around my cluttered mind
Quickstep to the beat of my hollow heart
Though I’m in love with your past and present
I shall slowly remove the hurt and hate
Replacing it with a loving future

I'll Tell My Secrets To The Moon
So long as you furnish me with a window
And a steel frame bed in a corner of a room
I’ll endeavour to keep the pane transparent
To give my eyes a crystal clear view of the moon
Regardless of what phase you are going through
Whether it be half, crescent, full, blue or new
You have never once shown me your dark side
But so many times I have shown mine to you
But tranquillity can be seen on a clear night
Tides roll through my veins as thoughts flood to my pen
Of all the ancestors that have gone before me
Who've had the same moon looking down over them
So long as you furnish me with a window

Ladies and gentlemen, pirates and pirettes, Today marks the beginning of my new Spread the Word Campaign for 2013. Essentially, I plan for it to be a year long event and it will be focused around the concept of 'cross-marketing'. In other words, 'you scratch my back and I scratch yours'. How will it work? It means I need to get my DA account out there and the best way for me to tackle this is with the help of the public. What do you have to do? Simple. Get 1 new person to watch me. All you need is 1. Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactChen, you are delving among the ranks of those poets I havecritiqued who love the short form to the traditional. I do admit that your skill has not altered. The aptitude for rhyme and meter remain, and the glibness and choice of diction are still evident. My oinly tiff with short podetry is that I haveless to work with when I critique.
Suffice't to say that a true poet, like us, can handle any length and style and guaranmtee our effects.I have enjoyed this effort as much as the previous ones and they are your trademark in the craft. Cheers for another master work.
