Third Release for Random Week, Final Release tomorrow.

I believe that I really struggled with the idea of romance before, because I always thought of it in a very linear way. Boy x Girl

But if you take one step to go beyond that and think about what romance is at its core. It's really just about that feeling of love and joy in being with another person. They may not be perfect, but you do love them very much.

Hence, I wanted to put a little bit of a street spin on it. I didn't want it to be a perfect disney land prince loves princess kind of thing. Nah, I wanted it to feel real. To me, the streets were always real and so I decided to bring out this piece instead. While its common to see poems about 'This is how much I love him/her'. That's boring and paper cut, there are thousands like that out there. I wanted to do something a little different.

Now, me personally I should probably say that I've never been involved with gangs or anything like that, but I do have friends who were and I remember how we lost contact and all the stuff that they went through so I tried to put some of that in tonight's piece.

As far as romance goes, it's a start and I'm glad to finally be making headway on becoming a master Word Bender.
