I would never have imagined
that you would be the one to slay me.
But perhaps in your eyes,
I was not the man you thought me to be.
You chose to drive this blade into me
in the coldest manner possible.
Silent and swift as a serpent in the night;
You ensured that my end was probable.
Yet the man had died so long ago;
the only thing he shed was bitter tears.
For though he had lost his faith again,
he had the experience of his years...
And the anguish he felt was so constant,
it dulled his sense to any further pain.
Thrice more would the man call out to her;
before Diablo would walk again...

Death Mirror
How carefully we must breech that gentle subject
and aborne understanding on the things we fear.
Else we drown in our own darkness,
like a human voice attempting to call over the hoof beats,
asking a herd of buffalo to stop their stampede.
Death will always be a subject worth calling out to,
but some of us will fill it with things we believe
instead of the things we see.
The way a culture views death reflects a society's morals,
and the same fashion;
the way we tell ghost stories at a campfire
reveals

The sweet sea brine
Swells in my lungs
Air bubbles out
Think I'm coming undone
I surface again
And my head swims
The world is a storm
Tossing my dreams
I sing my last song
Dancing with the waves
I know I'm alone
No chance to be saved
Is it a shame?
I'll never see another
Bright-eyed human face
Never see my lover
But the sea!
It calls to me
It sings to me now
Setting me free
I'm not afraid
But I wish I'd stayed
On land where life
Ends in the grave
But no grave for me
I'll be buried at sea
Buried by the sea
Who alone is with me
The water fills me
With it's finality
I may not see it
But it knows me
I am at peace

Greetings my dear friends, are you all doing well today?
This is my fourth Demonic Poetry piece and it is born from something slightly unpleasant that happened to me today, I decided to just write it out and then put a Diablo spin on it (because I feel like playing Diablo 3).
